The Alcohol and Tobacco Tax & Trade Bureau (TTB), a division of the the U.S. Department of the Treasury, has furloughed much of its work force because of President Trump’s refusal to pass a budget without southern border wall funding. As a result, releases of new alcoholic beverages are on hold. That’s because the TTB is not processing applications for labels for alcoholic beverages. This impacts beer, wine, and distilled spirits.
